behind the brand
Every item I make is sprinkled with good vibes and lots of love. You’ll only find me creating cute, witty, unique, quirky, sometimes nerdy, occasionally kawaii and always adorable greeting cards, journals & sketchbooks, art prints, gift tags & other paper goodies filled with little bits of happiness.
Although the cyber world is awesome, nothing compares to something special you can touch and feel in your hands. The inspiration for Happy Dappy Bits comes from color, the environment and things that make me smile, big or small. My designs are a way for me to share that cheery feeling — yay!

how they’re made
Every product is meticulously handcrafted in my studio using high-quality archival pigment inks on a variety of acid-free and environmentally-friendly papers.
All items are my original works — designs are hand-drawn and digitally finished by me. I make each product with love and careful attention to detail: from selecting and inspecting cardstock, high-end printing in-house, hand-cutting, folding, stapling journals and careful assembly by hand from start to finish. Each product will vary slightly and that is what makes them beautifully handcrafted!

materials & the environment
Nature and our environmental footprint are very important to me too, so all of my designs are made from fully researched high quality eco-friendly materials.
All of my paper goodies are now made with light brown FSC certified recycled & sustainable papers and cardstocks ranging from 100% to 30% post consumer fibers. This includes the premium envelopes that accompany every card. These materials all have a variation of wonderful little speckles in them.
I also use upcycled and tree-free papers, produced with 100% renewable green energy and all papers are processed chlorine free. Leftovers and scraps are reused, repurposed or recycled. Woohoo!
-
eco-friendly packaging
Clear, reusable and 100% biodegradable cellophane sleeves are used to protect cards and paper goodies.
Packages are shipped in rigid recycled mailers to prevent bending so they arrive to you safe and sound — only with minor hand-stamping with water-based inks on the outside! I also use recycled shipping labels. I sparingly use sturdy brown recycled paper tape made from a natural rubber for the sticky side — for thicker and international packages.
